Trinity Underwriting Managers' Intermodal Program (TRIP) is designed for trucking professionals engaged in intermodal modes of transportation. From owner operators to 1,000 truck national accounts, Trinity understands the local and intermediate nature of intermodal operations. TRIP's unique and proprietary rating methodology can deliver the most competitive value program available.
Intermodal trucking companies are the fastest growing segment in the transportation field and very few insurance companies recognize the unique characteristics of this class. TRIP is not a trucking program that will entertain intermodal risks. Instead, Trinity designed this program specifically for intermodal operations. The TRIP program packages all the coverage that intermodal haulers require under one program.
Eligibility
- Single and multi-state operations from 1 to 1,000 trucks
- Drayage and over the road exposures rated and covered
- Wet port or inland port operations
Coverage
- Auto Liability - $1,000,000 limit with excess up to $5,000,000
- General Liability - $1,000,000 limit with excess up to $5,000,000
- Warehouseman's Liability - $2,000,000 with excess up to $10,000,000
- Trailer Interchange Agreement - up to $1,000,000 limit
- Terminal and Container Yard Coverage - $500,000 limit with excess up to $5,000,000
- Broad Cargo Coverage with limits up to $500,000
- Non Trucking Liability up to $1,000,000 written on policy as needed
